EasyClean is different
Just about every popular cleaner on your merchants or grocer's shelf contains caustic, even toxic chemicals; compounds which biodegrade slowly and incompletely. Further, these cleaners typically contain colatile organic compounds that deplete the ozone layer.

Not only is EasyClean an environmentally friendly cleaner, but it significantly reduces the carbon emissions associated with transportation.  This is made very apparent when you think of a 24 pallet lorry.

Lorry
A 24 pallet lorry typically contains around 15000 trigger sprays bottles, roughly 11,500 litres of cleaning fluid.

To compare, the same lorry carrying EasyClean sachets will deliver up to 1.4 million trigger sprays and up to  6.9 million litres of general cleaning liquid, depending upon the cleaning task.

Easyclean also eliminates the need to purchase new trigger sprays as the concentrated powder is diluted into the same bottles time after time. No using oil for plastics and no waste disposal problems.

EasyClean is typically used for the following equipment

Trigger Sprays

Power/ Pressure Washers (using liquid reservoirs)

Mop Buckets

Washing Machines, Dishwashers

Car / Bus Washes

Sinks/ Basins for Hand washing clothes

Floor Scrubbers

Carpet Shampooers (using liquid reservoirs)

General Surface Cleaning

Spray the surface to be cleaned thoroughly, let penetrate for ten seconds and wipe clean. If it's a vertical surface, such as a wall, be sure to spray from the bottom up, placing your cloth at the bottom as you spray, to catch drip lines.

White terry cloth squares (12") work best for general cleaning on hard surfaces, as well as cloth carpet, and upholstery. Sponges are better for porous, pitted, or irregular surfaces. Several sizes (and stiffness) of nylon brushes are helpful when more agitation is required, and are normally safe for use on scratchable surfaces (test first). A small nylon brush is helpful for cloth, upholstery, and carpet. Scotchbrites are effective for heavy build-up of grease or carbon (as with engines or ovens) but may scratch softer surfaces (test first). Light gauge steel wool works very well for tough clean-ups on surfaces that are either impregnable or not damaged by fine abrasion. Cleanups on concrete will require a wire brush, copper preferred. For more challenging surface clean-ups, spray thoroughly, wait 30 seconds to several minutes, then agitate with cloth, sponge, Scotchbrites, brush, or steel wool, as indicated above. When agitating, it's best to work in a circular motion, both clockwise and counter clockwise.

If it's a really tough surface clean-up, spray thoroughly, then lay a cloth or paper towel over the area and spray that as well to assure that the surface will be kept moist for a longer wait period of 30 minutes or more. It may be necessary to come back periodically and re-spray. The longer you allow EasyClean to penetrate, the easier the cleanup will be. If necessary, soak overnight, having also sprayed a terry cloth square or towel over the surface to assure it stays moist. A longer wait time may turn a half hour of scrubbing with a brush into a simple wipe off with a cloth.

Limescale on sink fixtures- Spray thoroughly and let penetrate for several minutes. Agitate with scotchbrite or nylon brush. Rinse with water. If stubborn, wrap the fixture with a cloth and spray the cloth thoroughly. Agitate with brush or scotchbrite after allowing a longer penetration time. Rinse with water and wipe clean.

Carbonized Cookware - For steel or aluminium pans that are heavily carbonized on the outside, prepare a "dipping tank" of solution with one sachet per litre of water. Leave the pan to soak in dip tank overnight. Agitate with the appropriate tool in the morning and wipe clean.

Restaurant Grease Filters - Use the same dipping tank concentration as above (one sachet per litre of water) and soak grease-trap filter for 12 hours before agitating with non scratch brush and rinsing under running water.

Window Washing - Mix one sachet to 3 litres of water. Spray windows sparingly, wipe and polish with old newspaper or dry cloth. (Warning. Using the product too strong will leave streaks on your windows. For heavy build-up on glass such as nicotine several applications maybe required)

Aircraft - EasyClean is an excellent cleaner/degreaser for removing hydraulic fluid leakage on surfaces, and the same applies for the automotive and industrial sector. Simply follow the directions above for surface cleaning.

Carpet Stains - The ability to take out a carpet stain depends on age, heat exposure, whether or not it has already been "cleaned in," or bleached. Spray the area thoroughly and let penetrate for one to two minutes, agitate with a cloth or small brush from the outside in. Spray a second time and repeat. Now "pick up" the stain by rinsing with a wet white cloth in a circular motion, working, once again, from the outside in. Wipe dry with a towel. Cover the area with a dry cloth after cleaning until it dries.

Carpet Shampooing Machines - Vacuum the area to be cleaned. Pre-spray all heavily soiled areas and stains. Mix one sachet to five litres of water. Clean carpet, concentrating on heavily soiled areas. Let carpet dry thoroughly and vacuum.

Deep Fat Fryers - Fill with water to above the oil level. Add one sachet per litres to one and a half litres of water. Heat and boil for 10 minutes. This will clean both the vessel and the element. Let cool, rinse with clean water and dry before replenishing oil.

Nicotine Stains on Walls - If you do not remove nicotine stains before painting, they may
bleed through the new paint coat. Working areas of about 4' x 6', spray the wall from bottom up, agitating with a sponge in a circular motion. Re-spray and wipe with a cloth. Rinse by wiping with a damp towel.

Oxidation - Old paint becomes "chalky" is it is oxidized. If you're cleaning something that's quite old, or has been out in the sun for a while, don't be alarmed if it seems that some of the "colour" is coming off on your rag. What's happening is that you are removing the oxidized portion of the paint coat. You'll also notice that the paint is brighter and more colourful. You may wish to protect that paint with a wax coat after cleaning.

Upholstered Chairs - Test fabric for colour-fastness or bleeding before cleaning. Pre-spot any stains or heavily soiled areas, then spray the upholstered area, let penetrate for one to two minutes--no more, then agitate as appropriate with cloth or soft bristled brush, wipe with a damp cloth, then dry with a white towel.

Stainless steel - Clean surfaces as described above. After cleaning stainless steel surfaces, always polish the surface afterwards with a damp cloth thus removing any residue left from the cleaning process.

Dishwasher – For deep cleaning. Spray interior, including seals, which often are subject to mildew. Let penetrate for several minutes, then wipe down seals. Re-spray inside, and run dishwasher on short cycle to clean.

Stains on Concrete - Spray thoroughly the area to be cleaned. Empty a sachet of powder directly over the stain and work into the surface with a wire brush. Let penetrate for five to ten minutes, agitate with wire brush and rinse clean with water.

Glues & Tape Residue - Many tape residues clean up very well with EasyClean while some, such as that of super glue & duct tape, will require a more aggressive solvent. Scrape any tape that is amenable to scraping. Spray the remainder thoroughly, let penetrate for several minutes, agitate as appropriate with brush or scotchbrite and wipe clean. If stubborn, lay a paper towel over the residue and spray that thoroughly. Let sit for several minutes to several hours, agitate with the appropriate tool and wipe clean.

Pet Stains on Carpet – EasyClean is excellent at neutralizing odours. Spray the stained area thoroughly. Let penetrate for up to two minutes, then agitate with nylon brush. Wipe with a wet cloth to "lift" stain, then dry with a white towel. Cover the cleaned area until dry. This will stop re-staining.

Floors - Spray floors thoroughly, concentrating on heavily trafficked and stained areas. Let penetrate for five to ten minutes, then mop with clean hot water. Replace water frequently.

Mould & Mildew - Spray the area thoroughly. Agitate with a soft bristled nylon brush and rinse with water. Repeat until clean.

Ovens - Spray thoroughly and allow to penetrate grease build-up for ten to fifteen minutes, re-spraying as necessary to keep damp. Agitate the area with scotchbrite, or non-scratch stainless wool on tougher areas, and wipe clean. Once cleaned, spray cloth thoroughly and wipe down oven with This will make it much easier to clean the next time.

Grills & Grates - Prepare a dip tank, with one sachet per one to one and a half litres of water. Soak grill or grate overnight and clean with hard bristled brush or scotchbrite. Once clean, wipe it down with mixed solution and the next clean will be much easier.

Jewellery & Watch Bands - EasyClean is safe for fine jewellery, with one exception: Do not use EasyClean with pearls. Mix one sachet in a one litre glass or bowl of warm water. Place jewellery in the solution for one to two minutes. Do not immerse non waterproof watches, but hold the movement in such a manner that the band is in the solution. Use a small toothbrush to agitate within the crevices, rinse in a second glass or bowl of clean water, and wipe clean.

Laundry Pre-spotting - Stains such as red wine, soda, coffee, grass, rust, etc. respond very well to EasyClean. Check fabric first for colour fastness. Spray the stained area thoroughly, agitate by rubbing the cloth against itself or with a soft bristled brush. Let penetrate for at least two minutes before placing in wash water, and washing normally.

Tile Grout - Spray grout area thoroughly and let penetrate for several minutes. Agitate with a soft bristled nylon brush, and rinse with cold running water. Repeat until clean.

Cars, Boats, RVs, etc. - Mix one sachet to a five litre bucket of warm water. Wet the paintwork thoroughly with the hose. Using a sponge, wash the paintwork with circular motions, rinsing the sponge in the bucket frequently. Rinse off with clean water before paintwork dries, and dry with a chamois or towel. EasyClean is excellent at removing oxidized paint, leaving a cleaner, brighter finish.

Alloy Wheels & Tires - Spray the tires and rims thoroughly. Agitate with a damp cloth on surfaces and a soft bristled nylon brush in crevices. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry. Then re-spray the rims and polish with a clean white cloth; re-spray the tires and wipe dry with a cloth. For whitewalls use a soft brush or sponge.

Car, Boat, & RV Interiors - Spray the area to be cleaned. Using a damp cloth or sponge, wipe the area in a circular motion. Rinse the cloth or sponge in clean water, wring out and re-wipe the area. Now buff dry with a clean cloth or towel.

Stripping Wax from Floors - Spray thoroughly the area to be stripped, let penetrate for several minutes and mop with hot water. ( For scrub machines empty one sachet into 5 litres of water)

Frequently Asked Questions

How is EasyClean Powder different from other cleaners?
EasyClean Powder started over ten years ago as a concentrated, non-toxic and biodegradable cleaner long before it was trendy or mandated by law for products to be "environmentally friendly."
  Concentrated:

As a concentrate, EasyClean Powder is more economical, versatile and uses less packaging than any other cleaning products. EasyClean Powder once diluted with water can be used on practically any washable surface and only involves one dilution. (6gms of powder to one 1000mls of water or 32 fluid oz)
  Non-Toxic:

Check the labels for other products on the shelf and very few will say "Non-Toxic" right on their label. EasyClean Powder is the safer alternative to toxic cleaners, solvents and bleaches. EasyClean powder is more responsible to you, your children, your pets and your environment.
  Readily Biodegradable:

EasyClean powder is readily decomposed in the environment by naturally occurring micro organisms and is biodegradable. Even the packaging is recyclable.

Can I use EasyClean Powder in the kitchen?

On the exterior, EasyClean Powder is effective at removing grease, dirt, brake dust, rubber oxidation, road tar, bugs and oil trails on the grills, headlamps, bumpers, wheels, trailers and more. Keep EasyClean Powder in the garage for cleaning tools, workbenches, shop floors, garage doors, oil pans, and wash basins.

Can I use EasyClean Powder on my boat?
Yes, EasyClean Powder is the perfect cleaner for keeping your boat, trailer, caravan, personal watercraft, fishing and skiing equipment, inflatable and much more sparkling clean and looking like new. Use EasyClean Powder to remove grease, grime, oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, fish blood, dirt and more from all washable surfaces including: fibreglass, gel coat, most plastics (not instrument panels), treated wood, carpet, fabric, upholstery, canvas, rubber, vinyl, and glass.

Can I use EasyClean powder to clean my drains?
Yes. Although EasyClean Powder will not always break apart complex clogs that contain a variety of things such as...(hair, food, grease, etc.), it can be instrumental in keeping your drains free of clogs. When cleaning your kitchen floor with EasyClean Powder try mixing the dilution in your sink (with the drain plug in, of course,) clean and recharge your sponge-mop directly in the sink while cleaning the floor, and then pull the plug and let the dirty EasyClean Powder /water flow down the drain. Or, mix the dilution in a bucket, mop the floor, and then pour the bucket down the sink drain.
A good regular maintenance tip is to plug the sink, fill the sink with hot water and add 1 sachets of EasyClean Powder for small sinks (bathrooms) or 2 sachets for large sinks (kitchen), and then (wearing a rubber glove to protect from the hot water,) unplug the sink and let the mixture flow down the drain. Regular maintenance of drains can greatly diminish or eliminate clogging problems.

What is the fragrance in EasyClean Powder?
EasyClean Powder is scented with Citrus Fruits – derived from peels of Citrus Fruits.

Can I mix EasyClean Powder with bleach or ammonia?
No. We recommend that you NEVER mix household chemicals. First, mixing bleach or ammonia with EasyClean Powder just detracts from the positive qualities of the chemicals - bleach won't whiten or disinfect as well, ammonia won't clean as well. You will get better results when using EasyClean \powder separately from bleach - or from ammonia. EasyClean Powder is neither chlorinated or ammoniated, however, DO NOT MIX BLEACH OR CHLORINATED PRODUCTS WITH AMMONIA OR AMMONIATED PRODUCTS. THIS CAN RESULT IN HIGHLY TOXIC FUMES.

What are the ingredients in EasyClean Powder?
EasyClean Powder is a blend of water, surfactant's (surface-active) agents, wetting agents, emulsifiers, colour and orange terpine (orange terpine not included in antibacterial product). Surfactant agents lift grease and oil up off of the surface, wetting agents help EasyClean Powder penetrate soils, and emulsifiers put those soils into solution so that they can be washed away.

What is the ingredient orange terpine and is it safe?
Orange terpine oil is extracted from peels of citrus fruits and is one of nature’s safest and most potent solvents.

My home is on a septic system. Is it safe to use EasyClean Powder?
Yes. Under normal household use, EasyClean Powder won't harm the helpful bacterial and enzymes that are used to keep septic systems free-flowing. The readily biodegradable EasyClean Powder formula breaks down quickly in the leach-field, and underground water tables are not adversely affected.

Can I use EasyClean Powder on marble?
It is safe to use EasyClean Powder on true, polished marble. Caution is given for use on "cultured" marble, which is actually a matrix of marble dust or chips and a resin binder. Low-grade cultured marble can sometimes be damaged by using EasyClean Powder too strong or leaving it on the surface for too long. EasyClean Powder has an alkaline pH, and is water-based, so it meets most manufacturers' recommendations for cleaning products to be used on marble. Caution is also given for use on unfinished or honed marble, as sometimes the colour can stain unprotected marble, particularly on light-coloured marble.

Is EasyClean Powder safe to use on my hardwood floors and cabinets?
Yes. Either spray directly onto the floor using a spray bottle or add a 6g sachet of powder into a mop bucket and add hot water. Wash with mop normally.

Can EasyClean Powder be used in a Pressure Washer / Power Washer/ Carpet Machines?
EasyClean Powder does a great job when used in or with a pressure/power washer. It can be used to clean vehicles, concrete, siding, lawn furniture, canvas, etc.
You have to pre-mix in a bucket and then your equipment pulls it straight through, use approximately one 6g sachet of powder to five litres of water. Start at the bottom and work upward to avoid "clean streaks". Work in sections, cleaning and rinsing, so that the product does not dry on the surface before the rinse stage. Really heavily soiled siding might require light scrubbing with a non-metallic bristle.
